「Whidbey House was a lovely property. A real home from home. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the visits from the deer and rabbits. Rick was very responsive with a couple of queries that we had. Freeland was a great base for exploring Whidbey Island, explore off the beaten track a little and you will find some real gems, we can recommend Island Art Glass, for some beautiful glass work. If we were staying in the area again, we would love to return to Whidbey House.」

「We had never been to this area and the house was the perfect home base to use to explore the area. There’s a lot of beaches and state parks to enjoy on the island and we also explored the area’s other features including Port Townsend and wineries/cideries. The house was beautifully maintained and comfortable and we loved being there and on the water. 」

「The house was extremely clean. We wiped the floor because some water spilled and the paper towel was clean after. You cant see the windows because they are so clean. The appliances look brand new. Very clean house on the inside. Only negative was the back patio was covered in spiderwebs and spiders. 」

「Beautiful house with a comfortable feel of home. Incredible upscale appliances and cookware in the kitchen that was stocked with plenty of cooking essentials to make meal prep easy. House was very clean on arrival and the thoughtful and intentional decor gave the home a historical heartbeat. 「Owners were very communicative, easy to work with, and everything worked as they said. College buddy and I used it as a place to crash in between golf rounds at Dungeness, White Horse, and Port Ludlow. Location was quiet, accommodations were comfortable, and it had everything we wanted/needed. 「The house was so nice, host helpful and the view amazing tight next to a huge park we all loved our short stay. Had a really good lunch at the blue goose nearby (order the cheesecake)! We took a walk down to the water and the host left ingredients for s’mores!!!」

「The place is overall very nice and we had a good stay. The 3rd floor experienced a temporary electricity and Wi-Fi outage, but this was not the owner’s fault and beyond their control. They promptly emailed us with clear guidance to resolve the issue, which we really appreciated. My only suggestion would be for the owner to update the main contact email on Expedia (or other platforms) to the one they actively use, since emails sent to the Expedia address did not get a reply, while the app email...
