"Our host was fantastic at staying in touch with us. As an example, we first had some challenges locking the tiny house door, and Elizabeth wrote us right back with help. The house is adorable and on a very quiet, woodsy lot. It is a good value for the money with a nice bathroom. The heat and AC work well. The expectations for check out are also very relaxed, which is refreshing! The house is advertised as having a loft bedroom (the picture makes it appear non-loft-like, but the text does indeed say it is a loft), a master bedroom and can sleep a 3rd party on the pull-out couch. The stairs to the loft bedroom, however, are surprisingly steep. There is a sign that alerts guests that if they have mobility issues, they should not use the stairs, which is good. I must have missed where in the listing this is noted. "

"My spouse and I enjoyed our stay at the Campfire Cottage with our dog. The cottage was well designed and utilized its small space to the fullest. We also appreciated the gas fire pit outside. The location was great- there's an amazing dog friendly Italian restaurant within walking distance, a nice 9-hole golf course about 3 minute drive, and the Rondout Creek area of Kingston is about a 10 minute drive. If we find ourselves back in Kingston, we would definitely want to stay at the campfire cottage again. "

"We enjoyed our 5 night stay. The unit was clean and comfortable. As others may have mentioned, there is some noise from the nearby train track and bars, but that didn’t bother us much. We really appreciated the noise cancelling machine that was provided. One suggestion for improvement would be to make it explicit to guests that the backyard (incl. grill & hot tub) are shared between the upstairs and downstairs units. As guests in the upstairs unit, it felt awkward to hang out in the backyard, and clearer communication would make it so everyone feels equally welcome to enjoy those amenities."
