"The hotel was a bit dated but immaculately clean. I had a warm double bed, wall mounted TV, en suite shower room that looked new. Tea, coffee and biscuits.
The breakfast was the best I’d ever had, including at 5* hotels. Freshly cooked for each person. Everything supplied for a full English including fresh juice, eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, beans, cereal. I really loved my stay"

"Didn't meet any staff, I was dealt with via text, which is a little impersonal.
There was a layer of dust on the top of the wardrobe but everything else was clean and I had everything I needed. The towel was very small. The bed was very comfortable.
The fridge worked very well and was silent.
Overall the stay was fine for what I needed and yes I would return. "

"Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed.
The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. "
