This speech cottage has been totally updated very nicely. It has everything you need. It’s a great location and super easy to take a few steps to the beach. The host was really responsive and great.

This is what you see when you walk in the front door. It’s a enclosed front porch with plenty of space for storage.

Perfect for pets and their humans! Unbeatable location - walkable to all the fun stuff! The house literally has every single thing needed for a memorable beach stay. The hosts were lovely and responsive. I’d give 10 stars if I could!

Beautiful beach house! Love the underneath area. This was a perfect area to let our dog off the leash and hang out with us and still be outdoors!! Will miss the short walk to the beach and waking up to the sound and smell of the ocean!! Would definitely book this home again!! Thank you for hosting such a wonderful week!!

We loved the close distance to everything. My wife was especially surprised and loved the interior; it looks even better than the pictures! We also really enjoyed the design of the property.I was worried about the size, since we were a group of four adults and four kids, but it worked out great. The kitchen island was large enough for everyone to eat from, with four chairs and two more that you can pull in from the small table.While there are only two full bathrooms, it was enough for our group. The stand-up shower has two shower heads from different walls, which was very useful for our kids to shower at the same time.The house was very well-stocked. We didn't need to buy trash bags or condiments. The fridge had sauces, and the kitchen was full of all sorts of supplies. There's a Weber gas grill and a charcoal grill out back, though I didn't use them so I'm not sure of their condition.The kids loved the basket of board games and puzzles.It was too bad the waves were rough during our stay (there was a "no swimming" flag the whole time, just like last year). However, we still had fun playing on the beach and enjoying family time inside.

Best accommodations, view, and more!

This was our second stay at "Close Enough" and we're hoping to get our vacation dates in time to score another visit next summer. Not only the place, but Janelle was sweet enough to let us know about a stuffed animal my grandson left under the bed, but she helped us get it back. She was driving her mother to ORF the next day and offered to meet my son and DIL in the area to pass off the beloved raccoon. That was appreciated by all! I apologize for being tardy in offering my review. I still had 4-5 days with my kids and grandson before they left to return home.....and that took 100% of my attention. :-) Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Great location. Updated interior. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen for your cooking needs. They offer beach chairs, towels, beach umbrella. We brought our own but its nice that these items are available for use. Washer & dryer on site so you dont have to bring home a bunch of dirty clothes.

We love Close Enough! It’s the perfect size and location for our family! Everything you need is close by (much within walking distance) and the property is updated, yet has a touch of rustic beach feel. We enjoyed our stay for the fifth year in a row!

Exceptionally well supplied. Even beach towels. Bedrooms were small but comfortable. Beds were wonderful. Property manager was exceptional. Only issue is no kitchen table. Eight people would have trouble eating together.

Easy access to beach

Well appointed little house

Great location and had everything you might need for a beach vacation. Well supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, stuff for the kids, and washer/dryer set up. Host responded quickly to questions and check out process was fairly straight forward.

Perfect trip!

We originally planned for this to be a family vacation with nieces, nephews, grandparents, pets etc. It ended up just being my mother and I and our two dogs. And it was awesome! The house is in a great location. Walking distance to the ocean. The area the house is in as well as the beach were incredibly clean. We didn't see any trash anywhere. The house itself was perfect. Plenty of room for us and our doggos with a nice big deck on the back for everyone to relax and listen to the waves.The house was incredibly clean and had everything we could have asked for. The Wi-Fi was great as well (I needed to work a bit). We are already planning our trip for next year!

Wonderful stay

This home was perfect for our family of 6. The home was perfectly clean and had so many thoughtful amenities. The kitchen was so well stocked. Pots, pans, any serving dish you could imagine and even an air fryer. Stacey, the owner, even leaves paper towels, cleaning supplies and spices stocked. The lounge area underneath the house was lovely to have and the kids really enjoyed it. Location is good with easy, short walk to beach. Stacey was quick to communicate and very thoughtful. Highly recommend this lovely home
