「Easy, free transfer to/from airport: drivers efficient and extremely friendly and accommodating. Grounds are beautiful and room was quiet and very clean and spacious. We only had one night (partial) as we had a very early flight out. I wish we had booked this hotel for our stay prior our Kilimanjaro trek. It would have been much more comfortable than the more expensive resort hotel we booked in Arusha. If we come back, this is definitely where we will be staying.」

「The views of Mt Meru and the surrounding bush country were magnificent. The grounds include banana, papaya, mango, pineapple and avocado plants/trees, all of which enhance the experience. 「I can't say enough good things about Kaswende Farm. The owner was the most remarkable host I've ever met. He arranged for a pick-up for me and treated me like family on my arrival. It was my first day in Tanzania and in fact in Africa, and he did a remarkable job at getting me up to speed with what to be aware of while travelling through the country. 「Not as shown in pictures. Low key creepy… There was no free airport pickup (as suggested)—we had to pay. No running water, no toilet seat, bugs in the sink, no electrical outlets and very cold. We were also asked to pay twice. On the positive they fed us a nice breakfast. 」
