"This was an amazing trip, the location is really nice and quiet, close to national road to take you to Chania, lovely town close by called Armenoi with butcher, cheese monger and nice restaurants, close to Kalives with beach bars restaurants etc.
The host Stefanos is a lovely friendly man who will assist with any needs. He allowed us to check in nice and early and greeted us with a smile. He would come chat with us daily if he saw us sat outside. No noise at night which is amazing"
"The location up in the village was breeze, which was nice during the very hot days. But it is on a very busy road, and constantly very noisy for the near room."
"Rooftop bar/pool area used for breakfast is a real delight with views of the sea and mountains.
The food was exceptional and the dinner buffet very good value head and shoulders above most we have experienced in terms of quality and choice.
Very unusual for holiday hotels is the quality of the bedrooms and especially the bed.
Excellent in all respects apart from the MUZAK which is played morning noon and night and spoils the wonderful rooftop breakfast experience totally.

Could do with slightly more foliage in between villa terraces for added privacy and the cleaner should sweep when changing towels etc..other than that the owners were extremely friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. "We spent 6 nights here for our 10-year anniversary and loved it. The hotel and grounds are stunning, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety. On-site dining is convenient but pricey (as expected). The Italian restaurant was fine, but not super memorable. We mostly ate dinner in Chania.
The spa is calm and relaxing, and I had one of the best massages ever. 60 minutes for 140 euros.
Our favorite part of our stay was lounging by the pools and on the sunbeds by the ocean. The beds are incredibly comfortable with food and drink service right to your chair, and you can't beat the gorgeous ocean views!
Our standard room was modern, spacious, and well-equipped, with plenty of closet space and a large smart TV that was easy to log into our desired streaming services.
The only drawback for us is the location, about 30 minutes from Chania. We knew this was going to be the case, so we had a car to take day trips and spend the nights in Chania's old town.
Overall, a beautiful resort with outstanding amenities and perfect for a special occasion!"

"A great villa in a great location - if you are looking for peace and quiet. The views are amazing, the private pool was a total bonus. Great facilities, wifi for a 10 year old invaluable. Great kitchen equipment. The pool was cleaned during our stay and the local property team always at hand if required. Although they were not as the property was in great shape for our stay. Thank you all."

The food options are great, and as a vegan I had a number of options every meal which is different to usual holiday locations.

"Lovely, bright, spacious villa, beautiful views. Almyrida is a lovely town with plenty of great restaurants to choose from.We hired a speed boat from Antonis Boat Rentals which was a holiday highlight. Kera beach is only a 10 minute walk from the villa, not much sand, but a lovely dip in the sea"
"Great service from booking through to our 2 weeks - excellent to have the villa cleaned and new bedding and bath towels provided twice during our stay - pool cleaned and rubbish taken away regularly. We had an issue with the dishwasher on our first evening- by the next day we had been given a temporary one and a new one was installed a day later.The villa its self has the most amazing views through out the day - you can spend many hours relaxing around the pool. Lovely taverna within walking distance - beach with beach bar 15 min walk. Kalives has all you need to dine in or dine out. Once you have found the turning off the road to the villa your fine - first time can be a bit tricky but directions given are useful. We had an excellent 2 weeks and loved exploring a new area "
