The decor was very cute, think hill country chic, and the surroundings by the lake and pool were nice and quiet. Check in and check out process was easy and seamless and Kelly was very welcoming. "Absolutely by far the best decision we ever made was to book this cabin. Cabin was clean, hosts met me and showed me around and gave me fresh free range eggs for breakfast. I spent the majority of my time sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch with my dog and enjoying nature and the wildlife. I was sad to have to come home! If traveling the the Mountain Home/Kerrville area, Cowboy's and Angels Retreat is a must stay!"

"Very serene and peaceful area. Cabin was perfect for our needs! Pool was a nice touch on a hot afternoon. Loved feeding the deer and seeing them outside our cabin windows. Will definitely stay there again."

"No this wasn't a great experience, we had to find the office and locate our keys in the cabin, which was fine. Next we get to our cabin, only one bed, there were two of us both men, the picture showed a loft with a bed above another, we tried to order pizza but they were already closed. Also thought it was odd that there was no TV in the room I understand this is glamping but I still expected more than a small mini fridge and a single queen size bed, one end table and some coat hangers"
