"We're 72 year old outdoor lovers and stayed for 17 days in March 2026. Spent nearly every day exploring the trails in the many beautiful State Parks and Sumter Forest nearby and paddling our kayaks on both Lake Keowee and surrounding waters. It was nice to return home to the peaceful surroundings after a day on the trail or water and relax in the hot tub on the deck overlooking the lake. If you're into paddling, at the back of the first finger west of the one the house is on is a quiet and undeveloped 1.5 mile flatwater river that was a relief from the overdeveloped shorelines along the lake. There's also in March 2026 some housebuilding near this house that might prove noisy at times, including the lot next door. "

"What an all-around fabulous experience at this Keowee Key townhouse! I needed a last-minute 4-bedroom on Lake Keowee for a business trip w/ 3 clients. With very limited options on short notice, I was lucky to snag this gem. The owner reached out promptly with all the access details...which can be tricky in private, gated communities. The townhouse was in great condition (esp. since it was built in 1984), ell-appointed, and meticulously clean. The amenities the owner provided were a pleasant surprise- a bevy of snacks and full coffee bar. I highly recommend this VRBO property! "
