「Such a beautiful, peaceful place. Great for a quiet getaway! Very comfortable room with enormous bed. Excellent porridge for breakfast. It was a treat to stay here.」

「Steve and Ginny were welcoming and kind. The “roost was comfortable and had a spacious bathroom. Walkers shortbread was left at our coffee and tea station -yum! Steve suggested the forests walks to the Spey River and we enjoyed that so much. We then drove over the Cairngorm mountain roads to visit the 3 B’s as Steve put it- Balmoral, Braemar and Ballater and followed Steve’s suggestion of dinner at The Puffin (a wonderful day!). My expectations were well exceeded by the fit out and finish of the property, the size and space and practical appointments for this accommodation. A modern bathroom complimented the more traditional cottage feel and there was also a washing machine that was very timely at this stage of my holiday.
