Kawasaki is settled version of Yokohama even though there are still a lot of locals and foreign tourists. However, when it comes to hotel vicinity, I prefer Kawasaki area more due to so many great shopping retail options.

I always stay in Kawasaki, best place to Haneda airport and if you just enjoying a lay back getaway trip. Plenty of restaurants and just about 30 mins to Tokyo station

This is our first time experiencing Kawasaki area. We had a wonderful time. We would love to come back again.
"Our room was comfortable and clean. I appreciate that staff replenished our towels and water daily. Linens are changed every other day and that's OK. I wish they would make the beds daily though. The only criticism I have is the wifi connection. It was very hard to connect on an android phone. Hit or miss. We did not use the spa but saw plenty of people taking advantage of it. Finally, I really appreciated the free shuttle bus to haneda airport. It made the start of our journey home very easy and convenient. "
