"Whilst the host was really lovely I have to give feedback on the room itself. The bed varnish/stain was an over powering smell. The mattress was extremely hard did not sleep at all. The bathtub is very small not room for two 😔 I could not find a rubbish bin anywhere The tea and coffee facilities were outside in the cold. You need to bring your own hairdryer. Again the host is a lovely person and I wish her well."

"We loved our 6 night stay at The Avenue .Excellent communication from Jonathon. Clean cottage, with quality and comfortable furniture and bedding. Top-notch amenities. We ordered the Breakfast and dinner food packages and this was great value with delicious local produce! Perfect place for a couple, private and peaceful with a postcard view. Location is 3 kms from Montville main street so we recommend a car. In saying that, its also a walk with views which we did. Highly recommend this place...

"First impressions were good, and location excellent. The main key to enter the property was faulty and it was not easy to operate. The ironing board did not work and as we were there for a wedding, this was annoying. A nice unit, and we enjoyed our stay."
