The villa is set in a stunning location overlooking Kalkan. The villa itself is in need of some TLC, and is sold as a luxury property. The pool area is fantastic, unfortunately the amenities are in desperate need of an upgrade. All of the the showers suffer from a lack of maintenance, limescale causing major issues. I had to ask for the shower to be replaced in the top floor suite, which Chegiz did immediately. The fitted fridge at the property was also not working, and a replacement fridge was freestanding in the kitchen. Again, I requested the main fridge be repaired which was dealt with promptly, but unsuccessful, twice, and the replacement fridge was malfunctioning and freezing the food within, which of course meant it was inedible, so for the duration of the two weeks any we effectively had only one fridge which was excellent at providing very cold/slush drinks, but not for storing any food. The last complaint was there was not enough water in the storage tank to provide us with showers. The feed was intermittent, so there was no water at all on many occasions. There were only 3 bedrooms in use for our family of four, so goodness knows how 10 people using 5 bedrooms would be serviced. The rear of the provided Iron was hanging off exposing electrical cables, this was exchanged promptly again, for another iron with the back hanging off.Chengiz was very amenable and tried to sort things out, and always quickly, but the end result was not a Luxury Villa holiday.
