「This by far was my favorite placed we stayed in Switzerland. Kandersteg is a gorgeous town and the hotel was so cute. We had the best view from our room. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious and had lots of options. I cannot say enough positive things about this location. Absolutely loved it!」

「My wife and I stayed in August 2025. We learned that there was recently new management. The staff we met we all very helpful and friendly. It was perfect for us looking to go hiking but with a comfortable place to rest and recoup after a long day walking. Morning breakfast was also very good. We would come back again and look forward to seeing what changes the new management makes going forward.」

"The hotel has a great view, is on a hill, and is quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I appreciate that coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day in the lobby lounge. However, it is a 10-15 minute walk uphill from Wengen station, so while it's not a problem for people with good legs, it was difficult for elderly people like us. It was great that they provided a free shuttle to the station to take suitcases and other items to and from the hotel. I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again."
