"It’s a very ‘okay’ hotel. For UK people, I’d say that it’s on par with Premier inn or good Travelodge. If that’s what you are after, it’s a great place. I kind of missed being treated very special by 4/5* type hotels. Although the hotel is in keeping with Japanese standards of service and competence, it just missed that extra bit. For eg, when we handed in our luggage to be transferred to another hotel, it just felt like the reception staff felt that it was a chore for them than being happy that we are using the service. Room cleaners did an amazing job and were super nice and friendly. Room, superior double with twin beds, was very okay. (Hot bath on top floor hasn’t actually got a great view because there’s a glass corridor between the bath and the view so it’s very distant (for the women’s one). We’d been spoiled by other hotels in Japan that we weren’t overly excited by this one."
