"Apartment is good except very stingy on toilet paper. There’s 4 adults staying in the apartment for five days and only allocated 4 rolls. We need to request for it and only given 2 rolls until we need to buy our own tissues. There was no water during one night in toilets and we were unable to flush and wash hands till next morning which there were no communication or warning. Unable to make drink water or make beverages too. "

"Location was great - 15 mins walk into the old town (with some good places of interest en route) and for the evening - the area has many fabulous cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The whole hotel is really arty and chilled. Our room (102) was large and comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. There was a choice of local or western breakfast each morning with lots of PG tips!! Would definitely go back. We walked the whole of Ipoh twice over during our stay and agreed that our hotel was in the best location!"

"This hotel is really interesting and quirky but its location in the middle of 10 car yards and rooms 110, 220, 310 upwards being on a major road into Ipoh makes it untenable unless you’re deaf. Honestly we found from dusk until 4am the noise from trucks, loud motorbikes and traffic to be unbearable and I am 60% deaf in one ear. "

She was courteous, efficient, and always ready to assist with a genuine smile, which made the check-in and overall experience truly pleasant. Also a big thank you to Jagjeet for placing the slice of birthday cake in our room so that i may surprise my best friend on her birthday! I would also like to commend the housekeeping team for the birthday decorations as well as maintaining the room in impeccable condition. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and consistency throughout my stay did not go unnoticed and greatly enhanced my comfort. "The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially the young man at reception during check-in and the breakfast restaurant manager. However, the overall experience was average. The room for two was quite small and rather dark, although it was clean and nicely maintained. The bathroom is in the typical Malaysian style, so after showering the whole floor becomes wet. A floor squeegee would really help. The towels had visible stains, which was disappointing. In the restaurant, many of the chair covers were stained. Breakfast options were limited for a European guest – mostly toast and beans. I tried some of the local dishes, but they felt too heavy for breakfast. On a positive note, the samosas and spring rolls were very good. Overall, it was an okay stay, but there is room for improvement. "
