"The view is very impressive and lodge itself is cozy with large kitchen with some necessities for breakfast. The reason for I gave 3 stars is the mattress was awful. Soggy and old and really soft. Also the shower is unusable. Old shower head that sprinkles the water all over, but doesn't give a stream. So washing was a nightmare. Also the quality of shampoo and conditioner was really not good"

"There was a $10 parking fee not disclosed at booking. Wi-Fi is first come first served. No reading lamps. "

"The room was very small but fine for two nights. Breakfast is nice, and the staff runs the small space very efficiently. Street parking wasn't a problem. Interesting historic property, and I got a tour after check-in, including the room where Admiral Nimitz stayed and info about descendants of Ulysses S. Grant in town."

"This place is truly wonderful and peaceful and secluded even though there are other homes close by. The amenities are great such as the hot tub and the cat walk leading to the sitting deck up in the trees. The owner is very welcoming and meticulously details anything you may have questions about. I found the steps up to the cabin really did not seem there were as many as noted because they are short steps. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is my favorite. The place is as advertised and I encountered no disappointments."

My aunt, uncle, and I spent our days playing music, talking for hours, and simply soaking in the peaceful setting.The cabin was comfortable, inviting, and exactly what we needed for a restful getaway. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and it felt like a place where memories are meant to be made.Thank you for sharing such a special space. "Our 5th stay. My husband and I love this cabin for quick weekend getaways. Cozy, complete with amenities, a lovely deck and quiet neighborhood. The fact that we can bring our frurry child is a bonus. The fenced backyard is perfect. Spring is upon us and the lush, long grass and weeds made it hard for poop pick up. It was clear to see with random stools in the yard showed other visitors had the same issue. We apologize for any poops we missed!We’ll be back! Thank you for sharing cabin"
