Newly acquired from Homestead Modern: Split Rock is a contemporary, newly renovated home only 10 minutes to Joshua Tree Park. Highlights include:

The space
In the kitchen, you’ll find a gas stove, oven, fridge, and freezer. Extras include a kettle, a drip coffee maker, a French press, a blender, and toaster. Whip up a quick breakfast before a hike or cook a romantic dinner to enjoy as the sun sets. Inside, the dining table seats 4, and there’s a breakfast bar with 2 stools. Or, opt for al fresco dining around the firepit. The patio behind the house includes chairs, a BBQ and brand new Jacuzzi brand hot tub.
Other things to note
-Dogs

While we love having our guests bring their furry friends, we do have a few easy to follow pet rules below:

We only allow dogs, and there is a pet cleaning fee of $60

-Please keep dogs off the furniture, especially the bedding, as pet hair can be difficult to remove. If you must have your dog next to you on the furniture, please bring a blanket to place under them.

-Please be considerate of our neighbors and prevent excessive barking inside or outside the property. Of course all dogs bark, but please be sure it’s not a disruption for others around you.

-Please do not leave your dog unattended at the house.

-Please make sure to clean up after your dog. We ask that your dogs relieve themselves outside and that you clean up after them immediately. If our cleaner has to pick up after your pet, you may incur additional fees for cleaning.

-Please do not use cabin towels for pets, and if necessary bring your own.

That’s it! Just a few basic ground rules to help prevent damage to the house and excess cleanup, as well as avoid additional fees.

Clean, Accurate listing

Really nice place, and very clean. Loved the fenced back yard with hot tub. We used the gas firepit each night while watching the clear night sky. The stars are amazing! Thank you we will be back!

A little bit of heaven in Joshua Tree

Split Rock is a wonderful property carefully thought out to provide all the amenities for which one could ask in a vacation spot. - clean design, basic kitchen and bath supplies, a killer fire pit(with a timer!), bar-b-que and a hot tub under the stars. It's proximity to the National Park gave us an advantage in first come basis. We would have appreciated more "back-up" supplies, like TP and paper towels, but they were easily obtained. Games, laundry and cleaning supplies were provided. Bocce ball was a big hit. I think we used everything provided including the bikes.

A Great Place at Joshua Tree

Split Rock Cottage was ideal for a recent visit to Joshua Tree. My husband and I liked the modern style of the house, which was comfortable (good bed!), very clean and quiet. The kitchen was nicely equipped, and instructions for access, Wi-Fi, and other systems were easy to follow. We especially enjoyed the privacy of the backyard for star gazing, and the excellent hot tub. We look forward to returning. So glad that the property is pet, friendly, too!

3 Day Weekend in Joshua Tree

The house was wonderful and we enjoyed the bikes and hot water tub. Very close to our daily visits to Joshua Tree National Park. The Saturday farmers market was a surprise treat to us. Don't hesitate to rent Split Rock!

Very Nice

We stayed here for a couple nights and had a great time. The host was very friendly and responsive. The house was clean and comfortable and the furniture and fixtures were all in like-new condition. It was cold and windy outside (early November) but the thermostat easily kept everything warm and cozy. The Wi-Fi internet was very fast. My wife and I enjoyed having a late-night drink at the fire pit and stargazing.

Nice Stay

Our family had a good time at the house and in Joshua Tree. Fully fenced property. Close to the park entrance.
