DESERT WILDLIFE and PEST AWARENESS
Our home is located in Joshua Tree's natural desert environment, where wildlife and insects are part of the surrounding ecosystem. While sightings are uncommon, guests may occasionally encounter lizards, snakes, rodents, ants, bees, or other desert creatures, particularly outdoors.

We maintain regular pest control services to help minimize unwanted visitors. However, as with any desert property, we cannot guarantee a completely pest-free environment.

If you notice any wildlife or pest concerns during your stay, please contact us through the Airbnb messaging app so we can assist promptly.

Please be mindful of your surroundings, especially when enjoying outdoor areas after dark.

PARKING POLICY

All vehicles must be parked in the driveway. Street parking is not permitted and may result in City-issued fines, which will be passed on to the guest.

HOUSE RULES and IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. QUIET HOURS and NEIGHBORHOOD RESPECT

Our home is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood. Please respect our neighbors and keep outdoor noise to a minimum, especially during quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

2. EVENTS and COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Parties, events, and commercial photoshoots are not permitted without prior written approval. Additional fees and permits may apply.

3. OUTDOOR SECURITY CAMERAS

We have two motion-activated Ring cameras operating 24/7:

• Doorbell camera monitoring the front entrance, sidewalk, steps, and lawn.
• Floodlight camera monitoring the driveway and street.

Both cameras may record motion-triggered video and can be accessed remotely. There are no indoor cameras.

4. FIRE PIT and FIRE SAFETY

Personal fire pits, open bonfires, and burning trash are prohibited. Guests may use the designated outdoor wood-burning fire pit only when permitted by applicable fire regulations and restrictions.

Never leave fires unattended, and fully extinguish all flames and embers after use.

The indoor fireplace is decorative only and must not be used.

5. PET POLICY

Please include all pets in your reservation. The first pet fee is automatically included, and each additional pet is $50 per stay.

We typically allow up to 2 pets. Please contact us for approval before booking with more than 2 pets.

To ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay for everyone, please follow these house rules:
1. No parties or events.
2. No firearms or weapons on the property.
3. No smoking or vaping of any kind, including marijuana.
4. No glitter, confetti, or similar decorative materials.
5. No unregistered guests or visitors without prior approval.
6. Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please keep noise levels low during these hours.
7. All pets must be included in the reservation.
8. No commercial photography or videography without prior written consent.
9. Outdoor security cameras are installed on the property for safety and security and to help ensure compliance with house rules.
