FAMILY:
We are family friendly! Children 2 years old and above must be included as part of the total guest count. Please note that the house is NOT childproof (i.e., no outlet protectors or cabinet locks). Please see our House Rules for more information.
PETS:
Pets are accepted on a case-by-case basis. We will request a $75 additional cleaning fee per pet.
RESPECT:
Please respect our neighbors by following the county's Good Neighbor Policy and refrain from any loud noise. Sound travels far in the desert. If you play music outside, please only play it from your phone or computer at a low volume to avoid causing a disturbance to the community even outside of quiet hours. San Bernardino County’s quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. Failure to respect quiet hours may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund.
AC/HEATING:
We have central heating and air conditioning in the house and split AC/heater units in the breezeway and game room.
WIFI:
Reliable, high-speed Starlink Internet connection available for streaming content. We are in a remote area of Joshua Tree so speed and availability depend on the weather and many other factors outside of our control.
WILDLIFE:
Common wildlife on the property are Great Horned Owls, hawks, coyotes, jackrabbits, cottontail rabbits, squirrels, quails, road runners, bobcats, mountain goats, mountain lions, bears, various other birds, insects, snakes, and lizards. If you encounter any of these enjoy the sighting and treat them with respect.
NO SMOKING:
No smoking or burning candles. This is a non-smoking home. Any and all smoking should be kept outdoors and at least 15 feet away from any open exterior doors. There will be a $250 charge for anyone not honoring this guideline. Please do not leave cigarette butts in or around the property.
SECURITY CAMERAS:
Please be aware there are security cameras located at the front entrance and on the corner of the garage door side of the house. This is for visibility of access to the property and during emergencies. The cameras will not infringe on your privacy. These external security cameras will actively record the driveways and the exterior of the front door when motion is detected (audio and video). We do not have any interior cameras or exterior cameras in the backyard guest use area. The backyard and sides of the house areas remain private and have no cameras for your comfort and security. Attempting to disable, redirect or obscure the cameras is prohibited. For your safety and ours.

CELLULAR COVERAGE:
Connections are spotty in this area. Expect slow uploads and downloads when not connected to Wi-Fi.
