"The hotel is further away from Auch historic center than I thought. The second level room was not easy access with large luggage. The body towels were super small, the kind you see in cheap hotels. The restaurant was great, fit for foodies"

"We had a wonderful week in La Romieu and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The location is beautiful: peaceful, full of character and surrounded by stunning countryside. La Romieu and nearby places such as Condom are well worth exploring.The property is fantastic for a large group. There were 28 of us and we made some brilliant memories here. The pool, outdoor space and setting make it a very special place.There are some areas for improvement. Our main concern was damaged tiles around the pool, which we discussed with the owner and were told would be repaired. Some sun loungers would also be a welcome addition. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but nothing that spoiled our holiday.Our main disappointment came after leaving. We received upsetting messages about cleaning and were initially told we had not paid the 280 cleaning fee. Our receipt confirmed we had, which the owner later acknowledged. We accept guests should leave a property respectfully and genuinely believed we had done so. With 28 people staying for a week, a few minor things may have been overlooked, but clearer departure instructions would have avoided much of the misunderstanding. To her credit, the owner acknowledged communication could have been clearer.Also check bedding and towel arrangements before travelling, as these cost extra.Overall, a beautiful property in a wonderful part of France. With improved communication and some maintenance, this would have been a 10/10 stay."

"Fairly recent refurbishment means everything is modern. Wonderfully comfortable bed, cabin shower room & plenty of USB charging points. A TV but only tab & chair in the room but a bar in reception. Restaurants nearby. Has restored my faith in IBS Hotels - well done"

"Please put more than 2 coat hangers in a cupboard. Breakfast needs improving. Rooms nice and clean with great facilities in the room and really good aircon. Beds are really comfy. Staff very helpful. I would stay here again with no issue."

"Check in was great - room was OK but with a view on a wall …. The dining closes between 14h30 and 19h30 which didn’t fit in with people walking the Camino (par for the course in France we have come to learn). Overall though, good place to stay - and a few minutes walk to centre town. "

"Le site est magnifique, l'accueil est chaleureux. Le jaccuzi et le SPA ne nous ont pas inspiré, La piscine est sympa mais un nettoyage du fond serait nécessaire. Par contre les gîtes sont bien adaptés pour des grands groupes. Tournois de babyfoot et ping pong à gogo idéal pour les activités en famille. Le ménage nous semblait moyen mais c'est un gîte rustique dans son jus. Malgré tout, une expérience sympa pour notre groupe"
