"If you want to take a step off the beaten track in Japan this is a very good option. The hotel is situated in a very good place to explore the Kyoto on Sea area (this is not Kyoto city). The Hotel will send a minibus at certain times of day to pick new visitors up from the railway station. "It had everything I needed. Room was spacious and clean. The complimentary bottled water was so expensive looking.The communal dining area was nice and they provided everything you would need. With a mall just across the road was very convenient to get foodstuff and even friendly luggage forwarding services at the mall. Would highly recommend this hotel!"
