As Seen On TV: Boulder Mountain Retreat - 6 Bedroom, Walkable to Pearl, 2 acres
10/10 Excellent
"This is an absolutely beautiful property with everything you need, great for large family get-togethers as a comfortably sleeps 12 people. The owners are extremely responsive to any needs, and even checked in to make sure we were safe when there was a storm and we lost electricity for a short time! Boulder is a beautiful place to visit, and we celebrated my daughter‘s wedding at the Flagstaff restaurant which was wonderful. We also had a hibachi company come and do a dinner for 18 on the balcony, which was so much fun. There are plenty of games, cornhole, a basketball , a pool. I hope to definitely come back again for a family get together! I have never stayed in a property this nice on VRBO."
"This hotel was amazing. An older Boutique Hotel right in the middle of Pearl Street shops. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and a cheap Uber if needed. The coffee shop in the hotel was really nice, and the bars offered late night cocktail. The Speakeasy down below was amazing, but regretfully only open one night over the week while we were there. Would most certainly stay here again!"
"We had an amazing stay at the Mountain Lookout! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the space itself was spotless, thoughtfully stocked, and had everything we needed for a true weekend getaway. Nat was an incredible host—so communicative, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. One important note for future guests: the road leading up to the property does require AWD, so plan accordingly. We truly loved our experience, will definitely stay again, and can’t recommend this place enough!"
Boulder's Only Earthship~Handcrafted, Non-toxic, Indoor Gardens, Outdoor Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"This place was incredible in so many ways. Highlights were the hot tub & the view (one night, bears were scaling the mountain side at a very safe distance), the amazingly comfortable bed (firm memory foam), the lush plants, and all the kitchen supplies you could ever hope for. I felt safe the entire stay (as a solo, female traveler). It was a blast driving up there - keep in mind, the gravel road leading up to the property is rugged and very steep - you'll want to be in an AWD vehicle at the very least. Wifi was crystal clear. The compostable toilet might not be for everyone, but it didn't bother me. I highly recommend staying here. "
"We needed a place that would be appropriate for our large family, coming from 3 states, with grandkids ranging from 1 1/2 to 18 years old. This house was perfect. The upper deck is large and safe. We played many board games out there. There is a wonderful creek or stream that the middle aged kids loved. We all went on the acres of trails with mines to peek in. Our CrossFit trainers separated and connected with the public trails they followed from maps on their phones. The road up and down from Boulder is beautiful. We saw a moose on our way down! We went down one day, almost to Boulder, and pulled over to play in the river. We hiked in the river which was another very fun thing to do. We also saw a mule deer while hiking and a bear on the trail while on the deck! The house has everything you could possibly need. Plenty of bedding, including lots of pillows with varying degrees of filling. The soaps are natural plus included extra toothpaste and toothbrushes just in case you've forgotten something. The kitchen is stocked with everything including a wide range of spices, oils, utensils, etc.. The dining room table fits at least 14. It's huge. The garage is an amazing indoor playground for adults and kids! A moving climbing wall, ping pong, basketball with electronic scoring, large Jenga, video games. Wifi made it possible to contact the host with any questions and they never acted put out to communicate. I could probably go on and on. You'll have to see first hand!"
