"Upon arrival, the staff greeted us by saying, “Welcome Home”. I have never received such a warm reception of hospitality by a hotel. The dinner, the rooms, the staff, the jazz brunch, and the tour, were amazing!! I am already planning my next stay. My only regret, is wishing I knew about the hotel sooner. "

"This Guest House was a great surprise! The rooms are very big and clean and the wide marble bathroom is wonderful! WiFi, big flatscreen TV, sofa, fridge, water cooker and mineral water is in the room. The Guest House is in a quite and safe place and can easily be reached by foot from Rosebank Mall (ca. 1 km, during the day it is safe to walk). "I think it's important to know this is someone's house with a few hotel rooms upstairs. There are some less-than-ideal aspects. The place is very echoey, so if the owners are entertaining downstairs you will hear it in your room. The lighting is very harsh, bright white, which is a big no for me personally. And the bathroom/shower has frosted glass walls that lead on to the hallway. No one can really see you but it doesn't feel that comfortable. Just some strange design choices. The owner couple...

"Excellent hotel, very friendly and helpful staff and very good food. There are 2 restaurants, both good but suggest doing advance booking for the Pot Luck Club restaurant, it is very good. Hotel is in safe area, can walk down to Melrose Arch through park, no problem."
