「Stayed at the beach house to be close to the water and the RV park friends were at. Very clean, comfortable house with walking trails to the water. Nice outside area with picnic table and swing under the house. Great location. Safe area.」

「Elevator dirty, sparse breakfast, no face cloths, called ahead to confirm cruise-port shuttle which was NOT available upon arrival. Staff on hand was polite and as helpful as they could be. 」

「The staff were professional and friendly. The interior and exterior walls were freshly painted and all was clean. We were advised prior to check in that the cable service was temporarily out due to renovation, but the internet was working, and I was able to stream seamlessly on my devices. I would stay there again if I was in the area.」

「Room was clean, but still had bugs. Tv was broken. Giant gap under my door. Water was turned off for several hours with no warning both days of my stay. Maintenance hammering and drilling from 7am to 7pm, sleeping in was impossible. Lobby and halls were dirty and wet. Waited 45 minutes at checkout to get my receipt Overall it was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. 」

「There was a patio (balcony on upper floors) with a nice view of the Gulf The workspace was good. However, because the floor was not carpeted (not a criticism), the desk chair rolled a bit to easily when sitting down or standing up. I finally started pushing the chair against the side of the be to immobilize it when sitting down or getting up, and propelling it with my feet to get to or from the desk.」

「The Hotel was comfortable, nice with a friendly,helpful staff. The location was inconvenient, far away from activities or choice of dinning. The main road was very busy, not noisy however making it difficult to cross the road at times. The best part of this hotel is the sea wall blvd. Breathtaking views , you can enjoy a pleasant walk along the wall. 」

「There was trash all over parking lot. Bed was held up with cinder block. There were no towels, washcloths ect in the room. Cement block was in night stand to keep it from wobbling. Curtains and lamp shade looked liked they had been hanging in a smoke filled bar and cewed by moths for the last 30 years. There is a brand new owner who making improvements. Progress is slow though. If you decide to go wait 6 months maybe he will be done by then.」

「I was in the shuttle bus from the airport and the driver informed me the hotel was closed due to renovations. So I called Wyndham and they said my reservation was cancelled. It would have been nice if the had notified me of this. The lady I talked to was able to get me a room a laquinta. I won’t stay at a days inn from now on. Only laquinta or holiday express. 」

「My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, and everything was spotless from the lobby to the rooms. You can really tell they take pride in keeping the place clean and well-maintained. One of my favorite parts was the pool area, it’s beautiful and such a relaxing spot to spend time. 「This property has changed over the last couple of years that we have been staying there. The room is not as clean, the refrigerator is run down looks like teenagers have caused the damage. Breakfast has totally changed, now serving frozen eggs, no meat, no potatoes, could not even call it a continental breakfast. It by far was the worst ever and we will be thinking about this the next time we are staying in Galveston. This stay was just very disappointing not up to the standards that LaQuinta...

「We stayed here before leaving for a cruise. It isn't upscale but its clean and was comfortable. We were able to park there for the week while we were on the cruise for no charge which saved me $150. 」
