In-room WiFi malfunction - totally unacceptable 5*

Upon my return to my hotel room after dinner outside on the first night, I found that there was serious connection issues with the in-room WiFi. None of my 3 devices worked on the in-room WiFi. The duty manager offered to place a mobile WiFi dongle in my room, to which I replied, "Are you crazy??! I have paid good money to stay at this 5* hotel; even 2-3 star hotels in developing countries have fully functioning strong WiFi signals in their bedrooms." They only offered to change my room upon my prompting, and even then they took such a long time to find me a bedroom that was in the same room-type as mine. Overall after a long hard day in Jakarta it is not a pleasant experience to be arguing and changing hotel rooms past 10pm at night!!!
