Would like to first commend the host for his willingness to work with changing our reservation dates due to unforeseen circumstances. We arrived to an almost complete kitchen remodel. We did find a few necessary items missing, but nothing that a trip to Target couldn’t take care of. Location is great with nice beach view from the unit. The walk to the beach is easily accessible and is absolutely beautiful. Things noted during our stay were the kitchen sink was leaking and the washer makes a horrible sound ( but works). I made the owner aware and assume these issues would be handled after our departure. Our only complaint would be the unit upstairs was being renovated throughout our entire stay, nothing the owner could do for that.

Helpful concerned host

Very easy check in Couldn't ask for a better location. Few steps from the beach. Everything close by even within walking distance. My family truly enjoyed themselves. Very responsive host. Always got back to me to resolve any situation in a timely manner.I would gladly stay again in any property this host has. Just needed another bathroom for a family of 5

Beach condo

Property was clean and functional. Would have like to have had 4 chairs for table. The noise of the construction above us was very annoying and we couldn’t enjoy any time actually in the condo because of it being so loud. Location was good.

I love this place. This is my second time staying here and it's been nicely updated. The beds are super comfortable. The location is so great. I love having the pool to jump into after being at the beach all day. Coffee shop and Thai food within walking distance. My dogs' favorite thing to do is sit on the balcony and look out at the ocean. When we first got here, we had an issue with the Internet not working. I contacted the host and they immediately took care of the problem. The level of communication is superb. They really care about the quality of your stay.

Overall our stay was good. Our keypad to the door the batteries died and we had an awful time getting ahold of the owner. The closet that had all the beach stuff in it would not open so we didnt have any beach stuff to play with. There were no sheets for the pull out couch and when the owner was asked he said the couch was not a pull out couch. Even though it is listed as such on the website. We went and bought a cheap pair of sheets.

Felt like this place was crawling. Definitely had the motel 6 vibe going on. Would not subject my family to this place again. The front door is an issue and previous reviewers have reported this. Recliner does not close after reclining and the beds are underwhelming. If you are planning to use the couch pullout well its not fit for a teenager and paper thin.The sliding glass door to the patio takes extreme pressure to open and close. Parking was easy and elevator gave us no issues. Im a 51yr male and this place is not suitable for older folks. I would not stay hear again. This is the only bad review that I have given on vrbo.

Good overall

As others stated you really should get the door fixed as well as the door on storage locker. Both fell off hinges. Some longer screws in door frame would fix. If you moved keypad over this would also help. A suggestion would be to add a few extra blankets or throws on couch and chair. Other than this everything was good. Beds were comfortable but my husband likes it cooler so I would have appreciated an extra blanket.

Christmas with family

We loved this property! The location is perfect for our needs and the view of the ocean was wonderful. I love to sit on the balcony and have my coffee watching the waves. The elevator was a wonderful plus as I am handicapped. Someone complained about the front door being hard to close but it wasn’t if you turned the door knob. Definitely coming back to this location on future trips!

Moldy beach palace

It was the worst experience ever. The unit front door did not close without extremely rough slamming which can’t easily be performed by a handicapped person. Did have elevator but nothing else was handicapped user friendly including both the front door and slider. Although the unit appeared clean with nice fresh towels and bed linens there was a terrible moldy odor. We did have to turn the heat on so possible that the heating system was the culprit. I called the host Kari and explained that I could not tolerate the smell and allergic response to whatever was in the air. He told me that he would contact vrbo to give me a refund as we vacated before 11 am and were only there 12 hrs. This never happened and after 4 calls to vrbo claims I am still on hold. I can overlook not having a microwave that isn’t functional a difficult to maneuver egress and regress (unsafe) and even stained curtains. But if you have an immediate persistent respiratory issue while inside a property and notify a host immediately it should be a non issue.

Perfect beach getaway!

This beachfront condo in Jacksonville Beach offers an ideal seaside escape with stunning ocean views and direct beach access. The interior is better than I expected. The living room is a nice size, large television with all streaming services available. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, coffeemaker, Keurig, microwave. The beds are comfortable. The balcony has an amazing view. Having an in-unit washer and dryer is great for doing laundry right before leaving your vacation. There is an elevator and multiple carts that you can use to help you bring your items, if needed. The closet in the garage with the beach items needs to be properly labeled as it should be labeled "12" but it isn't and it is right next to number 7 which makes no sense. Also, the bottom hinge is broken so you need to be careful when opening the door. Also, the front door to the unit is a little hard to close. Waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunrise from the balcony is simply magical. Definitely will be going back to this rental again.
