"worth the stay for everything"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel"

"Amazing staff. Loved the room and it was amazing to have a shuttle! I highly recommend staying here. It was a beautiful island. Tattoo friendly onsen!"

"Very Zen and the food was delicious"

"This is a great place to be on Miyajima Island. It is remote on the top of the mountain, on the other side of the island from the ferry terminal. So getting around the island is a bit of a challenge. However, Kenji is a great host, it's a magnificent place to get away with spectacular views. Bring some food with you, relax and enjoy the nature of this farm!"

"Great location, helpful staff and yummy food breakfast and dinner."

"Traditional Japanese room with futons only in an old but well maintained hotel. Convenient location, a few minutes walking from the ferry, main roads and attractions."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable Japanese style room with private toilet and basin. Easy access to shower and to the very relaxing traditional bathtub. Excellent Japanese breakfast with great selection of dishes from fresh local ingredients."

"スタッフの対応は良かったが、朝のコーヒーが切れていて無かったのが残念"

"Beautiful location windowside large traditional bath overlooking the famous tori gate, if you are doing miyajima make sure you stay the night for the best experience"

"This place was such a special experience! The owner and chef of the sushi restaurant downstairs is absolutely lovely and crafted us the best dinner of our entire trip! The rooms are private and comfortable and full of character. This is definitely one of the most authentic and memorable stays of our trip."

"Iwaso was a wonderful experience. From the minute we arrived after being picked up promptly, we were made to feel welcome and special. The onsen ( bath) was brilliant. Sharing the benefits of a hot bath in the gorgeous outside as well as inside!! The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. The room was calm and beautifully presented."
