"Great hotel in a fun Detroit neighborhood, close to everything. Definitely low-key boujie. Downsides: no off-street parking available, had to use the valet service which was a bit slow. King-city view room was nice, but rather small. Roof top lounge was inviting and posh, service was slow. I'd stay again."

"my first room smelled like sewer so I complain and I was moved into another room. I was told that they was having a problem with backed up so or something. I’m not really sure, but I was moved to another room the second room that I was moved to. I had a problem because of the bed was sinking in only on one side and that was both beds so I had to sleep and in the middle of the bed so overall yeah, must say I would have to give them 2 stars and I would definitely would book to stay at this hotel replace the mattress so I did not sleep good at and will be reaching out corporate"

"Everything was clean, the staff was incredibly friendly , and knowledgeable. I loved the history of the building. The food from the golfing / blowing area in the hotel was not great. but the service was. "

"Well don’t expect your deposit back in a timely fashion, don’t call down to front desk for anything unless you want to get belittled! Called to ask about Uber Eats delivery and was treated like I was the dumbest person on the earth. "

"Dressed up pig. Besides high cost for room; charged $15 per night to park; no amenities. no free water with exception ck in staff might offer you a bottle of water. Otherwise, rm has two bottles of $6 upscale water only or you can purchase regular water for $6 at the hotel store. Their lil restaurant doesn't have convenient hrs it's open. Rooms and coffee aren't automatically cleaned or refurbished; have to request it(I had two night stay) there was no signage at front desk or in the rm to advise you had to make request. And the houseclean staff leave a card with QR code and their name thanking in advance for a tip. A tip just to do their job; basic job, and I never ever saw house cleaning staff the whole time I was there Fri thru Sun. Toilet ran after every flush; annoying! Oh they need to purchase new pillows and stop short sheeting the blanket & sheets; learn how to make a proper bed. Marriott use to be a premiere hotel, just a dressed up pig that eats up your money"

"This hotel has such a fun vintage vibe, staff is incredibly friendly, location is a perfect downtown location that makes most of the city feel very accessible and the valet parking is very efficient with very friendly staff. The onsite coffee shop makes great drinks and is very convenient. Amenities in the rooms are pretty bare bones so that is the only negative I found. I would definitely stay here again. "
