We arrived in the evening after a long day of travel to find we had no hot water. I reported it to the property manager and said they would look into it the next day.The next morning we woke to encounter no water at all. There were eight of us. We couldn't shower and had to dip water from the pool to flush the toilets. Host was notified and water was brought in. Hot water heater did not exist. Apparently the host new the hot water heater was broke. But did not inform us. After this there was a continuous string of small things. Bugs on counter and in drawers, mold in the casita refrigerator and pool was not working properly. Bedroom closet door fell off almost hitting my granddaughter. The door was shimmed with a wodded up kleenex. The front door would not shut unless locked. But we were informed by the property manager not to lock the front door due to the sliding glass door locking on its own so we could potentially lock ourselves out. Ice maker wasn't working and the washer wouldn't work. We left the property and luckly found something nearby. I have not been compensated by the owner for anything. Very disappointed as this was my 70th birthday celebration with my family and lost a whole messing with trying to get the issues resolved. It's too bad the property is beautiful and and a great location. We were able to drive by the property after we left. There looked to be 5 to10 people in the house working on issues we reported apparently.
