「An excellent, comfortable and stylish stay in the peaceful highlands a short distance from Fort Augustus. Well located for exploring the area around Loch Ness and the Eastern side of the North Coast 500, we also took a day trip to the Isle of Skye which was easy enough. Thoroughly impressed by the facilities in the cottage, very tastefully decorated and with everything you might need whilst away. The tea, coffee and milk on arrival was a nice touch. Couldn’t recommend Faebuie Cottages highly ...

「We stayed for one week in this beautiful log house, which had all of the amenities that one would need. Both inside and outside very well equipped. Sian was excellent in answering my queries before we arrived. Sue the housekeeper, responded in no time when I texted her to ask where I would find an extra tea towel and bin liner. She came a short time after to get them from the locked housekeeper's cupboard-thank you Sue!」

「Great property with everything we needed! Getting in was easy and the parking convenient. We were very comfortable here and walked to downtown during our stay. Inverness is beautiful and Scottish people are some of the nicest I’ve ever met in my travels which made our visit even better.」

「This house is lovely and ideal for a larger group (10 adults and a dog). Everything was clean and well kept. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need including an extra fridge in the utility. It has a lovely garden with plenty of room to sit out if the weather allows. Bathrooms are modern and large. Beds are clean and comfortable. Beautiful quiet location within walking distance of the local cafe/shop. We had a very enjoyable stay.」

「This would be a 6 star review if that were possible. Barry, the host, was extremely communicative and helpful leading up to our stay. The directions to access the property, which is remote and off the roadway, were very good. The property itself is gorgeous. It was clean, well stocked/supplied, and just as advertised. The instructions for everything were clear and easy to find. Waking up and going to bed with gorgeous views of Loch Ness, sitting by the fire or in the window, or sitting outside...

「I brought 21 women to Polmaily House. We came to hike in the area. The house was just perfect! The pool, media room, sitting and gathering areas, kitchen, all perfect! Chris was so gracious and accommodating. He recommended Aggie from Heavy Metal Munchies to cater during our time there. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of room for all of us to sit and have our meals together. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a home base in the highlands of Scotland.」
