Behind the house you can walk through the private 8 acres of woodland which lead onto The Great Glen Way.
    3-room cottage on 2 levels. Spacious and bright, comfortable and tasteful furnishings: living room with open-hearth fireplace and TV (flat screen), CD-player. Kitchen (oven, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, freezer) with dining table. Upper floor: 1 room with 1 double bed. 1 room with 2 beds. Bath/shower/WC. Heating. Patio. Barbecue. Beautiful view of the forest. Facilities: washing machine, iron, baby cot for up to 2 year olds, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smoking house. The garden is regularly visited by all kinds of wildlife, from badgers to deer to the elusive pine martens, a haven for wildlife and bird lovers. HI-51837-F

Home away from home!

This cottage is exactly what we were after when visiting. The check in process is very easy, clean and very homely. We hired a car as when booking we knew we wanted to be a bit out of the way but this ended up being central for everything we wanted to do for our stay. We would stay here again as it really did feel like a home away from home!

Clean but small for 4 adults

The vacation rental was nice, the bedrooms were a bit small as well as the bathroom. We had 4 adults sharing a small bathroom. We really needed an extra bathroom. We expected to be able to walk around the property but it was a bit grown up as far as vegetation.

Very dirty with mice

Nice cottage but in poor and dirty condition. Outside was full of weeds and not kept. Inside was dirty and I saw mice in the living room, and mice droppings in multiple rooms. The owner is not a real person, it is a company called Interhome, and their communication was poor.
