「Karen was a charming and helpful owner who made us very welcome. Her recommendations of places to go were invaluable, as we didn't know the area. She provided everthing we needed including lots of heaters, as the house was a bit chilly. Plenty of space and a lovely garden with lots of wildlife. An enjoyable week.」

「The staff was friendly and the food at the in-house restaurant was very good. The condition of the room was good enough and clean, but everything from the doors, bed, bathroom and more was incredibly old and left some to be desired in terms of upkeep. I felt the pictures of the rooms online were rather deceiving. The location of the property though was fantastic with beautiful views.」

「Terrific staff. Very helpful. A lovely place to un wind, read a book by the fire and enjoy the view. Very relaxing stay. Thanks!」

「Hotel very clean room spacious and comfortable, bed a bit soft however personal opinion and still slept well, robe, slippers in room, tea and coffee making facilities with assorted teas and biscuits and complimentary bottled water. didn’t have breakfast but had evening meal, it was delicious and price very reasonable, location of hotel could not be better, harbour and train station across the road. Complimentary 30 minute steam and sauna, with two heated loungers, foot spa was not working but...

「Staff service was excellent. Good was amazing. Some noise at night due to creeky floorboards above. Room was lovely with nice touches eg water and biscuits.」
