「This spot was the highlight of our trip! We wished we had booked more time here. This is a set of four little apartment style rooms in what looks like a large shipping container. It's an unassuming building from back that is accessed of a single lane private road. 「There was no WiFi during our stay. While staff answered quickly, they never had an answer for the problem. The description and numbers of the apartment could be better explained. Parking is very easy and a big plus in this bustling town.」

「The apartment was very clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and the owners have thought of every last detail to make the stay absolutely perfect. We had one double room and the bathroom and our Mum had the other double bedroom with ensuite. She has mobility issues and can get into a shower cubical but not a bath with overhead shower so it made it great for her. 「We booked at the last minute fir 2 nights as we were delayed sailing to Isle of Barra due to bad weather. Melfort was perfect for us to relax and begin our holiday, the family loved the pool and we had a lovely walk. The cottage was great. Most important the staff were just so helpful, they could not do enough. We are already recommending to friends.」

「Not worth the cost. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and the shower drain needs unclogging. I had to stop the water for it to drain or it would have over flown the base. The stove light didn’t work. There was no toaster. No facial tissue/kleenex. The dish sponge was used (not good for someone with food allergies like me). There were only two glasses.
