"This place had it all. I honestly was blown away with how beautiful, clean and tidy this place was. So many sweet touches. It was a little tricky to find…but that was my mistake as I didn’t open the pictures the host sent me. He promptly replied to my posts and called me as well. THANK YOU! We loved having a washing machine and full kitchen. There were 2 tv sets which helped! No air conditioning, but the evenings were cool so we just opened up the windows and it cooled right off. "Every thing was good except the location"

"Hotel is right in the middle of town and easy to find. Fronts on the city center - location is great. Parking is in an abandoned building behind the hotel - rather scruffy. We had the apartment on the third floor - large, but old - hotel probably dates from 1950s (or 30s?), with no obvious renovations. Dormer windows. No air conditioning. Elevator went to 2'nd floor and then we walked up one more flight. Desk clerk at checkin was very friendly and helpful. The woman working when we checked out was neither. The dining room was excellent, and we had 3 dinners there. I didn't see a better choice of hotel in this town. Patrick (who works as both bellboy and waiter) was very helpful and friendly."

"All was good, but the property needs some major refit - upgrade! Regarding their swimming pool Expedia needs to write as the same as the breakfast is ticked, same needs to be done with swimming pool as they say it’s NOT included in the they call it package! I have tried to explain that wasn’t a package and usually if there is a pool, guests can use it! I have been allowed to use it, but it needs to be marked as same as the breakfast otherwise it will need to be paid for!"

"The receptionist was very welcoming and gave us useful information about walks and transport. The room was compact, and the bathroom a little dated but city was all clean. Even in summer air conditioning was not needed. Free parking and easy walk to restaurants and the train station is 2 minutes walk away. From there you can travel using a day ticket for €7 to any of the stops the High Tatras network. Breakfast was fresh, but quite a lot of meat and egg dishes. Only issue was that we requested the room cleaning using the door hanger but very little was done. Wet bathmat was not changed, cups were not cleaned, surfaces were not cleared and beds were unmade. This was a little disappointing in an otherwise good stay."
