"Very disappointing and stressful experience. We tried to contact the host many times in the weeks leading up to our trip. While we did have some communication, their average response time was over 10 days, which made planning difficult and frustrating.On the day of check-in, the host still hadn’t provided the proper check-in information. I had to contact VRBO, who was finally able to reach the host and assured us we would receive the check-in details one hour before arrival. Instead, at that time, the host unexpectedly cancelled our booking.This left 7 people, including children, stranded in a foreign country, scrambling last minute to find a place to stay. We were forced to completely change our plans, settle for alternative accommodations, and absorb significant added costs and stress — all of which could have been avoided with better communication and responsibility from the host.To make matters worse, the host falsely claimed that the property had already been booked by someone else before us. This is simply untrue, as we had multiple conversations and confirmations leading up to our trip, and they were fully aware we were scheduled to arrive.I would not recommend this host to anyone. Completely unreliable, unprofessional, and dishonest."
