"China (Cheena) looked after us so well. She did everything, cooking , cleaning, driving us to ski resort. Our train was cancelled and they came to pick us up at Bandai Altima at a cost which was terrific. There actually is a bus from Koriyama to the Ski Resort however the bus station seemed unable to tell us that. It would have been good information from Reitopia also. "Overall pretty good resort that is unfortunately showing its age. Our room was rather small for a family style room (comparatively to other ryokans we stayed at for a similar price point) but very clean. Beautiful location but very remote if you don’t have a car. Shuttles to and from Inawashiro station made it easy to take day trips to other areas. Most of the resort’s amenities were also not open during our stay too. The resort supposedly has multiple restaurants but only two were open while we were there. The outdoor onsen is quite nice as well."
