"A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby."

"I would like to give this 5 stars but I am unable to do so because of the local church which is very close to the cottage.For whatever reason, the bells were ringing out at all sorts of times — including 11pm, 2am and 6am!!The sound of the bells made it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep.Someone needs to report this and get it stopped."
