"Lovely house/room/setting. Stayed one night before an event the following day. Hazel looked after all my needs and I was welcomed by Ian upon arrival to him maintaining the amazing gardens. Would certainly stay here again."

"My dad and I really enjoyed our stay at The Boot and Shoe! Our room was clean and cozy, the beds were comfortable, and it was great for our stay. My dad loved having the bar downstairs where he could talk to everyone and make friends. The kitchen wasn’t open for dinner while we were there but the full English breakfast the next morning was delicious! The new manager and his son did a great job and made our stay even better. Would definitely recommend staying here!"

"*removed by Feefo* didnt let us know that the globe pub where we should have checked in had closed but luckily we managed to find out via Facebook and Sandra at NOSH , told us where we should go which was great , lodge and hot tub fantastic, peacocks walking around wonderful , definitely will be returning thanks again Tony and staff for everything"

"Before going I spoke to the owner twice and she was very nice and answered all my questions. The Wheat Shed was so much nicer than the pictures, spacious rooms and spotlessly clean, perfect for our family get together. We wanted to chill out for the weekend and didn't leave the property, making the most of the hot tub. Can't recommend highly enough, thank you and will certainly go again."

"Lovely cottage with all the amenities that we required. Situated in a quiet village within close proximity of Penrith. Nice welcome box with tea, coffee etc and even treats for the dog. Good offroad parking at the back of the cottage and an enclosed front garden. Stayed for a week, excellent location for exploring Hadrians wall, lake district and yorkshire dales. "

"Chose the cottage as we needed to be near Skelton and proved to be the perfect spot for us. Excellent base to roam from and to explore the less touristy parts of Cumbria. The cottage itself was well equipped with the host on hand should they be needed but we didnâ€™t experience any issues during our stay."

"We loved Lilac Barn. Perfect for accessing walks in the north lakes and the barn itself was lovely.The beds were really comfy and the setting was very peaceful. Also close to Penrith which had good supermarkets and a nice town centre. The Sun Inn was a really good pub with nice food.We will definitely be trying to book this again soon."

"We stayed for 3 nights in the carriage house. It was spotlessly clean and had everything that was needed for our stay. Having a Downstairs bedroom and ensuite was good as one of our party had mobility issues. Hot tub fab. Will definitely be recommending Carriage House to friends"
