Beautiful property in the grounds of Greystoke Castle. Idyllic. The hostess was very welcoming and showed us round the room. Everything is well thought out, even provided a torch to use if you are out late. Welcome fruit and water in the fridge in the room and an extensive choice of hot drinks available to make. Fresh milk available in the room too. Very comfortable stay and wide choice of food for breakfast all freshly prepared.

Our overnight stay was everything & more. We were warmly welcomed by Hazel the host on arrival and shown to our beautiful room. It was extremely well appointed with everything you could think of. We even had a plate of exceptional quality fruit in our fridge along with water and a great choice of teas/coffee’s and biscuits. Everything was explained to us in a very friendly manner and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was very comfortable along with high quality bedding, towels, robes and a really well equipped en-suite bathroom with numerous quality toiletries. The breakfast room was really well set up with cereal, fruit, yogurts, fruit juice etc. Something for everyone. The full English was worth the trip alone! High quality produce served on beautiful china and more importantly hot. We really couldn’t fault anything and it was like being in our own little castle surrounded by beautiful garden and grounds. Very many thanks Hazel, we would not hesitate in recommending your stunning accommodation and we look forward to staying again in the future!

Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful 4 poster bedroom, elegantly presented. Wonderful hosts . Hazel has got everything perfect, there is nothing that she hasn’t thought of .Tasty breakfast .Ian works hard keeping the gardens beautiful. A wonderful welcome also from Mouse ( beautiful grey and white handsome cat ).

I had a lovely stay for one night as I was working in the area. Hazel and Iain are great hosts and I couldn't think of anything to make the stay better. It was just perfect!
