"It was walking distance to the beach. It wasn’t too far from Balboa peninsula. Check in was hassle free. The pool looked nice but it was too cold & overcasted to enjoy."

"They upsold my husband at the check-in with ocean view when I rebooked a partial ocean view room. We still got a side view of the ocean. It wasn’t worth the upsell. The jacuzzi automatically turned off when the timer stopped but then needed a break before the jets would work again. During the break, the water temp cooled down. And it wasn’t very hot in the first place. They offer no self parking. Strictly valet, which of course is expensive. And the propane for the fire pits was out or not functioning. The rooftop restaurant service was much too slow. I liked the location and the property was lovely."

"Best thing is the location, a short, easy walk to the beach. Worst thing is the tight parking. I was lucky to find street parking as I would not want to have to squeeze a second car in! The house is very comfortable and we enjoyed the selection of games and toys. Only two small quibbles - I had asked if there was coffee and told yes, but there wasn't. Fortunately a good coffee place nearby! Also, I had asked about beach toys and didn't get an answer - there were plenty of shovels and rakes and so on, but no pails. Other than those two small things, we loved our stay."

"Great location. Spacious home, Kitchen was nice. Honestly it is a very good value. And the photos clearly show the property as it is.We enjoyed our stay and communication with host was easy. Check in was easy. Could use a little more attention to nooks and crannies in terms of cleanliness. But we would stay at this property again due to the location."
