The only downside was the air conditioning—it was freezing in the room. I asked them to turn it up, and while they did help, it was still quite cold. However, that seems to be the case in most Taiwanese hostels. Once I closed the bed curtains and tucked myself into the duvet, it wasn't so cold that I couldn't sleep, so it was manageable. "
