"Von den 4 Unterkünften, die wir in diesem Urlaub auf den Azoren hatten, ist dies die Einzige, die wir nicht empfehlen können. Als wir ankamen (Anfang Mai) waren die Temperaturen zwischen 11 und 17 Grad, mit wenigen sonnigen Abschnitten und dann höheren Temperaturen. Das Haus verfügt über keine Heizung, dementsprechend war die Temperatur im Inneren bei 16 Grad und über 80% Luftfeuchtigkeit. Die Wohnung war also kalt und klamm, in den Schränken und Kommoden riecht es modrig. Erst auf Nachfrage...

"Great location. The property is a bit dated but is still impressive. The complimentary breakfast is excellent. The outdoor pool area was the highlight. The staff are very attentive and the views of the ocean behind the pool are amazing. The dinner options were great and reasonably priced. The hot tub and sauna could use some updating."

"Cutest cottage in the 4 we stayed in during our 7 weeks in azores. It is very small and efficient, cute cute cute and very unique. It is tiny, but feels big because of the high ceilings. Airflow across the cottage works well, because you can open all the doors and windows during the day. In the evening it is best to have the lights off. The location of the house is difficult to find…it runs along the river, with a very tiny alley, parallel off the end of the bridge. We did not try to drive down it. If you go be sure to pick up coffee, tea and grocery’s before you arrive. It is a good walk, partially uphill to get there. That being said it is quiet, peaceful and serene…along a tiny creek in the wet season. Cozy reading spots and books inside …or sunny/shady spots outside.Outside there is a garden area with a table chairs, outdoor fireplaces. Compared to the other 4 places this was the quietest, even though it’s central city…easy to walk to local places, restaurants and boardwalk and ferry."

"We received an exceptionally warm welcome, with helpful staff at the reception and unexpected gift items in the room. Free parking in the basement garage was easy to access, and we were allowed to leave our car for the day after our checkout. Location was as central as it can get, with beautiful views of the Horta harbor."

"Great location!, clean house, good size bathroom, excellent cafe and restaurant less than a minute away. Air conditioning would be the only thing needed. I would recommend this home!"
