My recent stay at this hotel was a disappointment due to the lack of cleanliness in our room. Upon arrival, we discovered soiled sheets, a soiled mattress cover, and stained pillowcases on the bed. The toilet in the bathroom was dirty, and the couch in the room had crusty stains. We were so uncomfortable with the state of the couch that we ended up covering it with the provided beach towels and also placed them between us and the mattress the first night just so we could sleep.
Given the situation, we felt compelled to purchase clean sheets from a local Ross Store. Thankfully, management responded within 24 hours and arranged for housekeeping to replace the bed linens. However, the cleaning of the toilet was mediocre at best, and it was clear that housekeeping was embarrassed and very apologetic about the condition of the room.
While management did offer to refund our money, we were unable to find suitable accommodations elsewhere, so we decided to stay and make the best of the situation. Despite the prompt response from management, the overall cleanliness of the room was unacceptable, and I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously to improve future guest experiences.
