"Nice hotel, conveniently located for the railway station. Friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere in the bar, especially with a singer performing on Saturday night. Roomy bedroom which was kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Thanks!"

"Only stayed the one night, had the family annex room, was ideal but would have preferred to be given the bunkbed for kids instead of the pullout sofa. Evening meal and breakfast was excellent, lots of options to choose from. Overall very nice hotel with fantastic scenery! Only complaint is the lack of parking, had to park in nearby public car park which is expensive."

"Large room and bathroom. Looked a little tired but perfectly adequate. Mark (the owner) is lovely and friendly, really helpful. Superb breakfast, plenty of choice, quality products. Parking is on the street but we founded a space no pru."

"Lovely room, beautiful, well maintained gardens and the maze was fun! Spa was quiet and relaxing on Saturday morning. Excellent evening meal in the restaurant, breakfast was really nice but not outstanding. Would have liked to have robes in the room, or at least have been offered them on check-in. Also a full length mirror in the room would be useful."
