「The hotel is part of the service area on the A1 but, unlike most such hotels, it offers good food as well as comfortable accommodation. We were impressed with the welcome we received - and our dog was happy with the positive attention he received! The chap on reception was able to recommend a good parking spot in Bamburgh, where we were keen to take the dog for a long walk! All in all, a good place to stop!」

「Very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with a good selection and very good at catering for a gluten free diet. Good location for visiting the surrounding area especially Holy Island.」

「Amazing inn with super attentive staff. Highly recommend!」

「Beautiful hotel and grounds We had a lovely relaxing two night stay in the comfort cottage. Spa was lovely and clean. The food was amazing, great breakfast and dinner and not badly priced at all. My only negative was I ordered a bottle of wine and chocolates to be in the room on arrival and this was missed. However they did offer the bring in the second day but we didn't bother as we had already had wine in the bar on our arrival.」

「It was very cold and windy the two nights I was there, and the first night the heater wasn’t working. But they provided a space heater and also fixed the radiator heater in my room. They were very accommodating, and all the staff was helpful.」

「Great location, lovely room, good food and friendly helpful staff.」

「The staff were good, we arrived and had two occasions to see staff about things and they were done immediately. Hot tub was cool when we arrived that was abit disappointing, breakfast was a little cold and subpar. Dinner was really nice though, fish and chips were delightful.」

「Was not provided with the check-in information」

「Property has wow factor with good food and friendly staff.」
