「Had a great stay. Alison was a gracious host. She made reservations for us to eat dinner at a tasty restaurant nearby after we arrived late in the evening for our check in. And she even woke up early to have breakfast ready for us as we needed to head out early for the next part of our trip, even though we assured her we could just go without. Our room was clean and comfortable for our family of four. Definitely recommend. 」

Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. 「Great place to stay in Moffat's main street. I had a single room with spacious bathroom, kettle with coffee/tea, biscuits and milk in a fridge with bottled water and cola. Comfortable bed and all spotlessly clean. Friendly bar with nice varied menu plus good breakfast. Loads of parking outside. Really enjoyed my stay.」
