「The hosts were very engaging and helpful even when there was a local black-out. The views and peacefulness were terrific as well as the fresh veggies from their garden.」

「We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. With 2 adults and 2 young children it was very snug, but the amount of space was good as a base for our adventures around the Hokianga. Sunny windows, beautiful view of the sandy north head from the window, lovely sounds of the sea at night. Very heavy rain overnight but we were high and dry, no issues. Bruce was very welcoming and was close by if we needed anything (we didn't). The sofa bed was all made up for the kids when we arrived in the evening. The...

「This is a really beautiful place and the room was enormous and the layout was so in keeping with the heritage level of the building. There was a tea set for tea or coffee, a king sized bed, a sofa for relaxing and a bath. Total luxury!」

「朝晩は10℃を切る時期でしたが、部屋にヒーターがなく寒かったです。共同シャワーはキャンプ場にあるような感じ。雰囲気的なトータルバランスの良いと思います。朝食はついていないと思っていたのですが、チェックアウトの時に「コーヒーでも飲んだら？」と声をかけてもらい、寛いでから出発できました。他のお客さんはビュッフェ形式で食べていたので、食べてよかったのかな？と帰り間際に気づいたのは我ながら残念でした。」
