「Lovely welcoming hosts, Lise was prompt and attentive. We just stayed the one night but it was a very restful and relaxing stay, very private and serene garden areas to enjoy, and all just a short walk to the Kohukohu CBD : ) Very handy to the pub and shop and just across the street from the bowls club where the locals will happily welcome you for a sneaky beverage, there’s some folks there enjoying a bowl and a beer most nights during the summer nights.」

「Good stay. Unfortunately it was during a storm but we made the most of it. Beautiful views and handy to other sights in the Waipoua forest. We did have some trouble with the oven and did not get communication for remedy. We did however find instruction manuals which aided us. Overall good experience and accommodation.」

「On arrival we were unable to open the lock box, so were unable to lock up when ever we went out.Pots and pans needed to be cleaned before using.Location was perfect.Would have been nice to of had some spices and oil available.」

「Nice clean well priced studio unit with great views of the Hokianga Heads and Sand Dunes. Friendly, easy to deal with host. The unit had everything you need plus an amazing shower. Overall just a great convenient place to relax and chill out for a few days. 」

「We had a delightful week in this 1860s cottage. It has been fitted out very comfortably and is surrounded by beautiful gardens including a variety of fruit trees. Fiona is a wonderful host, who responds promptly. It’s a 20 minute drive from the touristy offerings of Piahia and the busier Kerikeri so if you’re wanting shops and restaurants on your doorstep this may not be for you. If you enjoy the peace and quiet of the lush green countryside the you’ll love this cottage」
