Very minimum. Clean but other than coffee there were no amenities. The hotel was quite pricey fo what you get; however there are very few options on the town

Its location near Höfn (no other town within an 100 miles in either direction) was a definite positive. The downside is that lodging in the Southwest is very expensive in the summer high season. It has shared bathroom facilities. They were well-maintained. Also the common kitchen had good amenities.

気になった点 : 設備とサービス、施設のコンディションと設備
The room was extremely small, to the point where it was difficult to even open a medium-sized suitcase. The soundproofing was very poor, and there was little privacy. Our room was right next to the bathroom, so I could hear the toilet flushing throughout the night and even smell unpleasant odors coming from it all the time. The room itself was very basic, with limited amenities. On the positive side, the shared living room was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were very polite and friendly. Overall, while the common areas and staff were pleasant, the lack of comfort, privacy, and soundproofing made our stay disappointing.

Very clean, all recently remodeled. Comfortable beds. We stayed in a quad room and had plenty of space for the 4 of us and our suitcases. New road to property that currently isn't mapping correctly.

The guesthouse is right off Route 1 and about 2 miles outside of Hofn. The rooms are well-maintained and reasonably spacious. There is a large kitchen/dining area with enough tables to eat or work. There are 1.5 baths downstairs and one bathroom upstairs. It is easy to get on Route 1 to drive to different destinations. It is also an easy drive into Hofn to get dinner or groceries, but not necessarily walkable.

Veramente deludente.

The bedroom was clean with fresh linens and towels. The shared bathroom and kitchen were also very clean. I appreciated the free coffee in the kitchen. While there did not appear to be staff onsite during our short visit, guest services were friendly and quick to respond to my questions by text. I note that there are only 3 single person bath/ shower rooms for the entire guesthouse which wasn’t a problem for our group but may be for some. There were two hot plates in the kitchen but only one sink. Overall we had a nice stay at the guesthouse which is very conveniently located.

This would have been a great stay but for the fact that it was way too expensive for what we got. We booked a triple room, which cost us 52.2k ISK for a single night - the comparative for similar properties is ~20-30k ISK. I will also note that the prices dropped significantly just before the booking date, which was frustrating as the booking was non-refundable from a month out. Otherwise, it is a pretty decent property. There is a good kitchen, with notably two hotplates and a coffee/hot chocolate machine. Bathrooms were also ok - though no soap, which again is disappointing for the price we paid.

Clean room and bathroom! Kitchen with lots of utensils and coffee machine working amazingly! The only mildly inconvenience I had was with a group of guests arriving late and being loud to which i reached out to staff and they immediately responded and came over to talk to them, and they were quiet after that. Although other peoples noises are not something the property can anticipate, they acted right away while many other places I stayed couldn’t care less! Thanks Nina, your rock!
