The owners were very nice and friendly. The coffee machine and yogurt for breakfast were much appreciated as was having the refrigerator in the kitchen to store food. Great base for the area around Hofn.

It's an older property. The bathroom is set up poorly. Theres not much to do about that but a shower curtain was up in some rooms and would have helped in others. These were the things that we did not like in the rooms: The shower floor was very slimy, the flush button was broken, visibly, the sink was very dirty-someone had shaved in it recently, the bathmat stunk. The sheets were torn in one room and very upsettingly stained in another. The kitchen smelled so bad we could smell it on the second floor. We never saw any signs of the breakfast freebies they offered. We did not need them but we did unwittingly rely on them the first day. Good things: I felt safe, the room was quiet. The location was convenient to everything. We walked to restaurants and cafes and could have walked to the laundromat. Parking was easy and free. Check in was easy, check out was easy. We did not think we saw any staff until the day we left. He seemed nice but we were wanting to get out so we did not notice the staff about the cleaning issues or the broken items. They were visibly broken and dirty so....if they clean between guests they'll easily catch/see it. I had easy access outlets and a bedside table with a light switch for the main light and for the bedside light. There was a large window which prevented the room from getting hot. There were lots of books and activities if you have young kids. I probably would try a different location should I go to this area again.

We stayed here for one night. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice with heated floors. The amenities onsite were ok with a mini kitchenette area and complimentary continental breakfast. All guests were respectful of quiet hours. I would stay here again.

Clean and quiet B & B. Comfortable stay and comfy beds. Owners and staff were very nice and friendly. Good cold breakfast and walkable to restaurants and bar.

The property is amazing, the rooms are pretty spacious with a great bathtub in the bathroom. High chance of seeing northern lights as the place is in a pretty isolated spot and they also have a whatsapp group where they add pictures of northern lights if anyone spots it that particular night. The downside of this is, the drive can get a bit sketchy in the night but can assure you the property is worth it. There is ample amount of parking but no lift, so be prepared to carry your luggage 1 flight of stairs. Breakfast is not included but you can have coffee from their machine. Over all, our stay was extremely comfortable and lovely. Would def go again!

Stayed here for one night as part of our Ring Road trip and it was perfect for that. Place was clean, located close to city activities. Parking was fine, was a little worried about the place being so small but it actually made it better vs the bigger more room guest houses which just leads to more people in common areas and hallways. This place was quiet and perfect for our family. Thank you.

Cute little guesthouse. Clear instructions for check in and property easy to access without someone being at reception. Good parking. Room was spacious, very clean and the bathroom was modern and well equipped. Kitchen was dated, but exceptionally clean and there was plenty of kitchen equipment available for use. The guesthouse is in a great location in Höfn.

Lovely clean & friendly guesthouse and well located in Höfn. Although they don’t offer a full breakfast out of season, there is tea, coffee, chocolate cake and fruit on offer. Nice large room and bathroom with parking on site.

Das Frühstück hätte besser sein können. Das Rührei wurde nicht nachgefüllt und der Kaffee war ungenießbar. Ansonsten waren die Zimmer sehr sauber und geräumig und Lage sowie Parksituation für uns top.
